This colorful watercolor pencil drawing on paper was created from a live figure model by artist Michelle Arnold Paine. Matted with archival white matboard and framed in a white wood frame with UV glass with outside measurements 17" x 21", this drawing comes ready to hang.

Artist Michelle Arnold Paine has been drawing and painting the human figure for more than 25 years. During the years she spent living and working in Italy for an American study abroad program, she steeped herself in the Renaissance masters, the rhythms of the Catholic liturgy, and the intimacy and beauty of daily Italian life. Her subjects of landscape, figure, and architecture draw on medieval texts, art historical images and observation of the nature and the built environment.

With an Master of Fine Arts degree from University of New Hampshire, she has exhibited her paintings and drawings across the United States and her work has appeared in a variety of publications which seek to explore elements of the divine: Evangelism and Culture, CT (Christianity Today), Ruminate Magazine, Edge of Faith, CIVA’s SEENJournal, Dappled Things, Worship Leader, Imaginatio et Ratio and Intruding Upon the Timeless.
