Artist Notes
He was born in 1904. He was a Newtown, Connecticut resident. Prior, he studied in Berlin and Paris and was the assistant to the stage designer of the Berlin State Opera and Theater. His paintings have twice been chosen for exhibition at the Carnegie International show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also won a prize award at the Silvermine Guild in New Canaan, Connecticut. His work is in the permanent collections of the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut , The Scott-Fanton Museum in Danbury, Connecticut, The Fleming Museum of Art in Burlington, Vermont and the Museum of Art Science and Industry in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
