There are several different types of Kuba rugs including Seichours, and Perepedils among others.Rugs from the Kuba area are as highly thought of by collectors as those from the Kazak region and have considerably higher knot counts. Cotton is frequently used in the foundations and may also appear in the selvage, which is often dyed pale blue. The one that I am offering here could be the best example for a very fine Kuba rug should look like. for those who are curious about the quality of this Kuba, I have shown an image from the back side, just refer to the pictures #6 shows the backside).
