Featuring a charming sailboat at sea and illustrated by Dahlov Ipcar. The Little Fisherman was a milestone in the illustrious career of Ms. Ipcar, as it was the very first children's book illustrated by the then twenty-eight-year-old artist when it was published in the spring of 1945. In a white 8"x10" mat, ready to be framed.

This print was taken from a lovely old book that had seen better days. There is minor wear to the illustration and it is original to the book, not a reproduction print. A blue and white gingham paper backs and encases the print into the mat.

The art and pattern play creates a vintage modern vibe for child's bedroom, playroom or nursery. Sophisticated enough for a home office or man cave as well. See less
