An evocative hand-built French ceramic by Andrée and Michel Hirlet, created in Paris in the early 1960s. The piece embodies the Hirlets’ signature fusion of sculptural abstraction and spiritual figuration—its rounded, monolithic form is incised with a stylized human visage, evoking a sense of quiet introspection and timeless serenity.

The textured stoneware surface is finished in a layered blue-green celadon glaze that pools deeply in the recesses and fades toward the edges, revealing earthy clay undertones.
