A stately Italian Neoclassical demilune console table with a wonderful carved apron centered on a bold rosette medallion with large pendant bellflower garlands both flanking and encircling beneath the medallion. Each leg is boldly fluted and stop fluted and surmounted by more carved rosettes. The apron is paneled with large waterleaf mouldings and finished with ribbons and tassels in addition to more bellflowers. White marble top veined in light gray. Ca. 1800. Good antique condition, original gilding with signs of age, wear/patination to the gilding especially at the front and on the legs, small losses and restorations. Top with signs of age and use, light oxidation.
