Danilo Picchiotti was born in Rome in 1933. He is a distinguished artist “known for his transformative journey through Surrealism and Action Painting; particularly influenced by his time in Paris and involvement with the “I Pennelacci” art club. His work, characterized by a deep fusion of self-awareness and innovative styles, evolved into the "GESTURAL MATTER" period, marked by the incorporation of diverse materials and textures.”
