  • "Larry A.: HI there! You can make edits to the shipping on your item yourself if you prefer. Please email if you need instructions on how to do so. Thanks!"

    Sept. 6, 2016, 1:06 p.m.

  • "Carrie C.: Easiest thing to do is to go to eBay where I have the same item listed. Use the same description to find it. Then make an offer in the amount we discussed. I will accept it and we can do the transaction this way."

    Sept. 6, 2016, 5:58 a.m.

  • "Carrie C.: That's what I recall. Thanks"

    Sept. 5, 2016, 6:49 p.m.

  • "Sorry my iPhone corrects me. Shipping was 145.."

    Sept. 5, 2016, 6:31 p.m.

  • "Shopping $145 and light 225 which totals $370"

    Sept. 5, 2016, 6:30 p.m.

  • "Carrie C.: Pls remind me what we agreed upon for price and shipping. Can't find my notes."

    Sept. 5, 2016, 6:14 p.m.

  • "Carrie C.: While I've sold several thousand items on eBay, I have never sold an item on Chairish. Let me check it out and I'll let you know. Larry"

    Sept. 5, 2016, 5:42 p.m.

  • "The top will be visible from the second floor of my house but I have access to painting help, so I'm in. How do I make this purchase at the lower price you offered me? And I will need some notice so I Can be at home to receive shipment."

    Sept. 5, 2016, 5:11 p.m.

  • "Carrie C.: the cone is a painted sheet metal. I don't know how it would be positioned, but it could be hidden since it's only on one side. If you painted it, I think it would nicely hide most of the dents/dings."

    Sept. 5, 2016, 12:43 p.m.

  • "Thanks for being up front Larry. From the photo it looks like paint and a noticeable dent. I assume on metal. May or may not be brass. So the paint should clean off. How thick is the metal do you know? Obviously thin enough to get mashed in the first place but would a little home improvement make it less noticeable or would it need to visit an auto body shop? I'm not looking to make an antique look like a perfect reproduction."

    Sept. 5, 2016, 6:19 a.m.

  • "Carrie C.: you might be looking on a smart phone. If you are go into the description section and you will see lots of photos."

    Sept. 3, 2016, 7:28 p.m.

  • "I only saw one picture on enay"

    Sept. 3, 2016, 4:47 p.m.

  • "Carrie C.: Hold on. I just checked something and that could influence the deal. If you can go to eBay and check the photos in listing number 222195149164. There are a couple of photos that are not on the Chairish listing. One, in particular shows a cone shaped cover that is located at the very top. It has some damage and may need to be repaired or replaced. I was limited in the Chairish photo display and this did not make it into Chairish . If this is an issue for you, let me know. I will understand."

    Sept. 3, 2016, 10:19 a.m.

  • "Larry A.: okay Larry I am ready to buy this at the discounted price you offered. Since it is listed a bit higher on the website is there anything that needs to happen before I punch buy now on the screen?"

    Sept. 3, 2016, 9:42 a.m.

  • "Carrie C.: Standard incandescent bulbs or any bulb with a standard household type socket."

    Sept. 2, 2016, 6:51 p.m.

  • "Larry A.: so the last question I guess is the kind of bulbs this requires"

    Sept. 2, 2016, 6:47 p.m.

  • "Carrie C.: It should be a relatively simple job to rewire three connections. I can mark them in such a way that it will be obvious. The wires run through the three "legs" and they simply turn and unscrew without any nuts or screws. You may need an electrician to hang the light, but you shouldn't need any experts to reassemble it."

    Sept. 2, 2016, 3:30 a.m.

  • "That seems a reasonable shipping cost to me and certainly more realistic than trying to meet you somewhere on an appointed day and wrangle it into a car. Just back to the details regarding the bulbs it requires and whether or not it is only a simple job to wire it and have it work or if it has to be restored or rewired."

    Sept. 1, 2016, 6:52 p.m.

  • "The shipping cost is $145.00. The light will most likely come in 3 packages (body, curved rim, top tripod). Please let me know if this will work for you. I would be willing to sell the light for $225.00 if that helps. Thank you for looking."

    Sept. 1, 2016, 7:59 a.m.

  • "Thanks Larry We are interested in the lamp. Not sure I can safely carry it in a car from CT. I assume it would be packed in something and it is quite big. I thought Chairish was one of those sights that packed and shipped for you guys. I do need to also know that it doesn't require any reworking other than installation and just what kind of bulbs it requires. Carrie"

    Aug. 29, 2016, 6:24 p.m.

  • "Carrie C.: I'll get an estimate for you tomorrow when the shipping/packaging company that I do business with has their office open. A second option might be that I'll be in New Haven, CT around September 24th. If that, by chance, works for you to pick the light up there and save the shipping cost. I'mm communicate with you further tomorrow. Larry"
