This piece can be moved in three secrions. … Read more Late 18th-Century (circa 1780) Country French Buffet made of walnut. Stunning patina! This piece can be moved in three secrions. Top sectios in the Chapeau Gendarme crest. Middle section has two large, raised and carved panels-front and sides. Inside there are three removable shelves with the top of the bottom serving as another shelf. Bottom section has two smaller doors that are also raised and carved plus two long drawers on the top left and top right. Iside there is one removable shelf plus the bottom serving as another shelf. Also all the original steel hinges and escutcheons, locks and keys. Beautiful carved front feet. Back feet are the typical tailored straight ones. Overall measurements are 56" width (54" main body at base) x 24" depth (19.5" main body x 98" height. See less
