The handwoven wool rug enjoys compartmentalisation in gray and white tones—alternating diagonally for an almost positive-negative colorway play with a smart sense of movement across scale. Connoisseurs may note the abrashed play of the hues, born of our undyed natural yarns accenting the geometry with exceptional movement (as well as a subtle nod to the weaving traditions of this acclaimed mid-century modern style). Keen eyes may note a subdued hint of blue in the lighter grays, dually attesting to this technique (as does the sheer brightness of the white, unachievable in other techniques and playing beautifully into the cool presence of this flat weave).
