Max Ingrand designed a pair of exceptional table lamps for Fontana Arte in Italy in 1956. These lamps have a stunning hourglass-shaped base made of patinated brass with an abstract finial and a conical opaline glass shade. The soft white matte finish of the glass contrasts beautifully with the solid brass of the base and sculptured solid brass top, creating an extravagant design. The lamps are exquisitely detailed, making them a striking statement piece in any interior. However, the brass shows signs of oxidation due to age and use. The lights are entirely original and have three e14 bulbs per lamp.

These extravagant desk lights have an elegant curved arm with a pendant adorned with off-white silk fringes. They create a warm and sophisticated light partition through these eccentric strings, making them perfect for a small space or as an additional light in a larger space. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
