Awesome vintage matte white ceramic C10 cylinder planter by Gainey.
Quintessential Mid-Century decor. The perfect way to add stylish Mid-Century panache to your home or garden. The right planter can act as a linchpin of any interior design concept.
Even though I'm an avid (obsessive) gardener, live in Los Angeles (where Gainey is from), and constantly rooting around (pun intended) for amazing vintage ceramic pots, it’s a special day finding a Gainey treasure! It is heavy-weight, the perfect size, and absolutely fabulous to look at!
The bottom is marked and reads:

Great vintage condition- wear consistent with age, history, and material. No chips or cracks. Some interior staining from being used as a planter.
• SOME COOL COMPANY HISTORY •
Gainey Ceramics was originally founded in La Verne, California by John Gainey in 1949. He purchased what was once the pottery shop where is was working. The company began by producing water bottles and dog bowls, later expanding to include ceramics that the company sourced for retail gardening centers across the country. Sadly Gainey Ceramics La Verne shop was closed in 2013.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
