The Teapot and lid feature vibrant red bands, intricate gold filigree designs, scalloped edges and attractive flowers, accentuated with gold trim, adding a touch of sophistication and charm to your tea service.
The back stamp the Teapot is as follows:
At the top of the stamp was the Maruki symbol. The Maruki symbol features a center design derived from the Chinese character 'Kon', meaning difficulty. And the central tree's stem, resembling spears, symbolizes perseverance and overcoming challenges. At base were Noritake (Company Name) and China Japan (Country of Origin). The Maruki symbol is used to back stamp Noritake dinnerware for the UK.
