moreIt has the look of a 500 but the classic construction of the 302. What I love most about this phone is the great RRRING that will be sure to get the attention of everyone in your household!
This phone has an original Western Electric No 5. Has a bakelite F1 handset, and a modular line cord. All components have been tested to ensure that they will function properly both now, and in the years to come. There are minor surface scratches as per photos. The date on this phone is 1959.
The 5302 is a transition phone using parts from the classic 302 series and the exterior styling of the newer 500 model. This was done as an effective and economical way to use the old stock of 302 parts while still meeting market demand for a modern look. Many 5302's were deployed in rural settings where the superior performance of the 302 components on extended lines proved to be a benefit when compared to the early 500 sets. This allowed rural customers to get a a new fancy phone like their city counterparts, while still meeting their audio quality expectations.
Please make sure your telephone provider accepts rotary dial telephones.
Although cell phones and social media communication define our way of life today, brother-sister team Joe and Janette Antone still believe in the power of the landline. These vintage collectors and technological historians started American Telephone Store to honor the beautiful craftsmanship and nostalgic draw of rotary phones from the 1910s through the 1990s.
1 year warranty included in the price of the phone for parts and labor. Warranty does not cover breakage of the exterior of the phone. Warranty is through American Telephone Store. less
