This unique piece was produced in Italy during the 1960s, clearly in the style of Louis Sognot. This large French Riviera style floor lamp has a sturdy base with four legs in curved bamboo canes, embellished by gorgeous woven wicker. The central column connects to a round lampshade made in curved rattan and hand-woven wicker. In amazing conditions, this lovely floor lamp was fully hand-crafted and it's a great example of Mid-Century Italian organic design, a must have for all the French Riviera style lovers. The lamp is wired and tested, it uses a single large E27 light bulb and is compatible with both Eu and Us standards. The effect when lit is simply breath-taking.
