Green and brown decorative dots and dashes on a mustard colored ground make this charming pitcher an excellent example of the pottery from the Savoie. The Savoie region is located in eastern France.

This pitcher would have been used for wine, water, or milk. It has an excellent applied handle and brown glaze decorative banding at the top. This pitcher epitomizes the rustic charm of provincial France. It would look fantastic in a setting with other pottery or on it's own as a vase for your favorite blooms. It is watertight.

This pitcher is in excellent antique condition. There is some glaze loss in areas, There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The piece shows wear commensurate with age and use.
