A marvelous large Folk Art wood sculpture of a black bird with long neck & open beak. It's truly magnificent in every sense of the word, taking us back in time, and into a legend, and original craftsmanship of an artist in touch with nature. The birds eyes are faintly visible, just enough to give us a window into its soul. Though large in size, to us it's still of a. young bird, maybe waiting to be fed by his mother, or calling out to her. This Folk Art rare find will most likely speak a different story to each one viewing it.
