Andirons and Complete Fireplace Set by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for "Dimensione Fuoco", Italy, 1970s The fireplace set consists of three different elements: a set of fireplace tools (with shield, poker, tongs), a fire screen and a pair of andirons. All these pieces are made of iron with brass details, the tools also feature wooden covered handles It is one of the most original and sophisticated fireplace sets in the history of design, the famous couple of Italian architects and designers managed to give a very original touch even to a simple everyday object. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
