This elegant 19th century French jardiniere is crafted from richly figured kingwood, its surface adorned with delicate marquetry banding and framed in finely cast gilt bronze mounts. The bombe-shaped form is accentuated by garlanded swags and scrolling corner mounts. Original metal liner intact and included. The interior has been adapted for display, here holding a life-like orchid arrangement, though equally suited for fresh florals or as a decorative centerpiece.
