Ashtray made of a particular submerged glass, with a wonderful double color of red and white. Refinement and class as in the Murano style, one-of-a-kind pieces that always remain precious.
The ashtray is made of Murano glass, square in shape, and with a particular transparent white and red color. By illuminating it you can see the different colors it takes on in daylight. The Sommerso glass is one of the latest techniques to be discovered. This style is achieved by creating multiple layers of glass, usually with different colors, within a single object. This technique gives the illusion of "dipped" colors that overlap without mixing. To do this, glassmakers join together several layers of glass through heat and repeatedly dip them into vessels of molten colored glass. Antonio Da Ross was the inventor of submerged glass in the 1930s.
