Features include a large round silver mercurial glass sphere (13"Dia) lamp column that is secured to a Ivory leather base. The reflection in the silver sphere "column" results in a beautiful reflection of the surrounding room when viewed from all sides. There is a frosted glass diffuser at the top of the mercurial glass lamp column (but below the light bulb sockets) which also has brass accent hardware above the sphere. The lamp takes (2) 60W max light bulbs which can be controlled either via decorative brass pull chains or a toggle switch on the plug-in electrical cord. The lamp shade is fabricated out of striated Shantung Silk and is secured to the lamp column via a decorative finial. The height of the lamp shade can be raised and/or lowered approximately 4" via a built-in telescoping metal post in the lamp column to achieve the desired total lamp height. Truly a unique lamp from the renowned a renowned designer, Bill Sofield, for Baker. The lamp is in new, 1st quality condition with no imperfections and it has had no previous owner. See less
