Belinda Vidor Holliday (American, 1930-2023). An original oil painting on canvas board. Titled, "Stormy Bay," produced circa 1992. A Southern California suburban seascape painted in the style of the 20th Century American Impressionist School depicting water, with architectural and botanical elements, clouds at sea, and other forms. Artist signed to lower right. Original CARMEL ART ASSOCIATION label to back with work details. Presented with a fabric fillet border in a heavily gilded gallery frame.

There is a freshness and boldness in Belinda Vidor’s paintings, an alliance of shapes and colors that is surprising long after the first viewing. Her bold vision and use of colors may derive from her unusual background, possibly from her father, King Vidor, famous for the dramatic visual innovations in his films.
Born in Beverly Hills, Belinda was raised and educated in Southern France and Paris and then studied art and design at Mills College and with Jan Stussey at UCLA. After moving to Carmel in 1976, she devoted herself full-time to painting.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
