This piece was restored several years ago, and it is still in very good operating condition with a nice vintage … more This piece was restored several years ago, and it is still in very good operating condition with a nice vintage look. The restoration involved adding a couple of nails to the bottom, and they are the cut, square (rectangle) head type to match the originals. One of the vertical front pieces of wood was missing, so a new one was made from a piece of Ash wood. The dimensions are exactly the same as the original on the other end. The wheels were virtually corrosion free, so they were only cleaned up, and the very slightly corroded axel was left as is. The wood was tightened down using the original nails, and it received a linseed oil soaking. All has held up very well as the cart has been indoors since being worked on. For this listing, the wheels were tested for proper movement and all was gone over top to bottom in a search for any areas that may have deteriorated. The wheels were found to move freely, and the inspection revealed that all is in very nice, solid condition. It is not known who manufactured the cart, as the name is almost invisible. It looks like: .....ON.

*** To be able to ship this without getting a freight company involved, it will be sent out with the wheels removed. They are simple to remount with the bolts and nuts shown.
