These large tartaneware pieces are very hard to come by. The interior has a divided box, possibly for candles. The trunk is made from pine and covered in a decoupage tartan print, and I believe sealed with shellac. See less

The stamp in the middle of the lid was torn and repaired using natural Old Brown Glue. less
