This is really lovely set. It’s so comfortable and filled goose down and feathers. Unfortunately the chair was placed near a window and has faded a lot in the back (see photo).
The chair was rarely used - the frame has no flaws and the cushions feel brand new.
At the time I bought the chair in 2000, it retailed at $7437. That price is partly due to the fact that it was upholstered with reproduction French toile fabric from the 1800’s.
The cost of the ottoman was an additional $1,254.
