Beautiful, age-related natural patina to the frame. There are no labels or signatures on this piece.

Peter Busa was an American painter known as one of the innovators of “Indian space painting”, a style of painting which combined Surrealist principles of painting with Native American tribal motifs. Wonderfully thick, textured application of the paint, as is often found in mid-century paintings. A striking painting, indeed.
