The glue is untouched. The expected scribe marks can be seen under the top rails. The spindles were turned then shaped with a hand plane. The grass seats on all four chairs provide plenty of support and are very usable having just been taken out of service. All four grass seats have a slightly different color, probably from the placement of the chairs relative to daylight. The grass cord on one seat is perfect, three have breaks to the front grass cord cross support. less
