Magnificent wooden Japanese chest of drawers (tansu) from the Taishō period.
This decorative piece of furniture comes with four spacious drawers, and metal carrying handles are attached to the sides.
Originally, this tansu served as a storage unit for clothing, kimonos, and accessories.
The chest of drawers is beautifully finished with metal lockplates and handles.
