Exquisite Japanese cabinet from the Meiji period, in original condition.
This tansu has aged beautifully, showcasing the perfect imperfections that give this piece of furniture a unique character.
The cabinet is a single unit and features two storage compartments with sliding doors.
Inside, the space is divided with a shelf and an etagere.
At the bottom, there are three spacious drawers finished with metal lock plates and handles.
On the back of the cabinet, remnants of Japanese prints can still be seen on the papers.
A unique and sought-after interior piece with beautifully darkened wood.
