The unusual murano glass spiral lamp, model 048 by leucos, was made in italy in the seventies. It can be used as a ceiling, table or wall lamp.
founded in 1962 in scorzè, on the outskirts of venice, and subsequently moved to the salzano district, leucos soon became a leader in decorative glass lighting thanks to its ability to explore different contemporary creative and production possibilities.
the electrical system is fully functional and includes 3 e14 lamp holders with adapters, we can make it e12 for the usa.
as shown in the photo, there is a small chip on the glass but it is not visible because it is hidden once assembled. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
