Features a vertical composition in abstracted triangular forms, joined at their edges and with energetic curves and bends, charging the material and giving a sense of elegant tension and presence across the piece. The surface texture varies across the sculpture, with organic patination and molten patterning on some of the aluminum panels, and more subtle smooth texturing on others. Light interacts beautifully with the structure, reflecting and illustrating the detail and material variation in the aluminum while casting lovely shadows underneath ledges and between swooping panels of material. Rests on a square black marble base with grey veining. An excellent example of the design influences and material sensibility of Mid-Century Modernist Sculpture, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Spaces.
