Judith Moore's animal paintings are inspired by her first-hand observations of the natural world. Always travelling with her camera by her side, she would capture a composition when inspired, then bring it back to the studio to carefully enlarge and observe every tiny detail of a scene, whether that be a ruffle of a feather, ripple on the water, or glint of sunlight.
This work is a gallery-wrapped canvas, with the painting extending around the edges. No frame is necessary.
