About The El Morocco: Founded in 1931 by John Perona, the El Morocco became one of New York's hottest nightclubs. The club's clientele included fashionable society and entertainers including Joe DiMaggio, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and more!
About Artist Jaro Fabry (1912-1953): Fabry was an artist and illustrator, working primarily in Hollywood from the 1930s until his death. He was best known for his depiction of the Golden Age of Hollywood. His work appeared in The New Yorker, Collier's, and was featured on the El Morocco's menus.

-Classic El Morocco signed blue and white zebra stripes with a glamorous woman in fashionable gown and gloves reaching for a cocktail while a hand with a cocktail glass reaches toward her. El Morocco painted on lower right corner. Dish is white with lovely scalloped trim.
