Entitled: ‘three view ga - gloster whittle high speed fighter spec28/39…zc 25629’ ‘scale:- 1” to 1 foot’ ‘drawn by spencer 27-11-39’ this is a general arrangement engineering diagram of the gloster-whittle e28/39 jet aircraft, which was the first british jet-engined aircraft. It first flew in 1941. This original printed engineering diagram shows three different two dimensional cross section views of the aircraft. A scarce and important part of early jet aviation history in the second world war. In a brand new deep black bespoke frame. Condition: visible creases and folds with yellowing/discolouration.
