The creative director of 't Spectrum Martin Visser, was one of the first to collect art from the Cobra group. Constant Nieuwenhuys had been one of the founding artists of the group. After his early Cobra period, Nieuwenhuys started to work on his utopian "New Babylon" project for which he made architectural models using mostly metal. These Utrecht shelf are from the same year he started New babylon. It has not been in production for long so it is quite it is rare to find one. And here we have two in the longest version. Both have superficial traces of use, one of them has a bigger stain of rust. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
