This is a fantastic original Mid-Century oil on canvas on board by listed artist Perrietta Hester (b 1925). Hester is known for her impressionist landscapes, wildlife images, still life works, portraits, and abstract works. This lovely still life that I call "Tea Time" is a great example of her work. It has lovely loose brush strokes and great color. It would look nice in a variety of frames. Signed in the lower right and artist biography on the back.
Certification: Gallery Certificate of Authenticity with Provenance included for items that sell for over $500.
Condition: Very good condition. Minor scuffing and minor signs of handling.

About the Artist: Perrietta Hester is known for her impressionist landscapes, wildlife images, still life works, portraits, and abstract works. She paints primarily in oils, and does a considerable amount of plein air painting. In addition to her artistic endeavors, she has taught art at the Los Angeles Unified School District, University of California San Diego, Palomar College and San Diego Community College.
Hester studied at San Diego State University, where she earned both a BA and MA degree in Fine Art. Hester spent individual study time with Everett Gee Jackson, Sebastien Capella, and Sergei Bongardt.
Residing in the San Diego, California area, she was a Founding Member of the San Diego Portrait Society. She is currently a member of the La Jolla Art Association, the San Diego Museum of Art Artist's Guild and the California Art Club. Hester has exhibited widely in Southern California and has been an award winner in many venues. (Source: AskArt)

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
