The lid is decorated with game birds. The sides are also decorated with game birds and leaves. The inside is nicely glazed. Some of the stoneware has darkened from age. There is one small chip on the bottom edge. We have only used it as a display piece with decorative dried cones. There is no maker mark, but purchased from a reputable source, Charles Faudree, the original tag is still attached. Offering below the original purchase price. See less
