In creating each piece, the artist builds innumerable layers of translucent color to yield delicate, ethereal tonal effects over raw textile. Gestural marks and movements combine to form a composition that varies with the viewer’s tendencies.

Structurally, the artist renders compositions loosely inspired from hazy, fleeting memories of places and moments experienced during extensive international travels over 30 years.
