Edition: Unique. Unframed.
Thaw Series is a group of drawings where the artist continues her work touching upon environmental matters. Peerna is inspired by the glaciers melting rapidly on both poles as the result of climate change. The works are freehand drawings on plastic paper, depicting the process of ice turning into water. The layering of subtle shades of graphite mixed with red and blue pencil streaks in a repetitive manner creates the feeling of something fragile being built and something precious vanishing at the same time.
