La Fonda chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Alexander Girard’s La Fonda del Sol restaurant in New York, 1960s.
The chair has a gracefully curved seat and a slim profile. The La Fonda chair was designed for a bar, with the aim that the backrest should not be higher than the table top.
Beautiful cream-white fiberglass shell, mounted on a white cast aluminum powder-coated base.
