Absolutely stunning, totally original, full stamped, Howard & Son's Berners St London two seat sofa with all the original makers … Read more Absolutely stunning, totally original, full stamped, Howard & Son's Berners St London two seat sofa with all the original makers marks This sofa as mentioned retains all the original retailer stamps which include the inside back left leg being fully stamped Howard & Son's Berners Street with the order number above, the central torsion beam (Another sign of an original Howard) has the remanence of the shops paper label and lastly, all the castors are stamped Howard & Son's LTD London The sofa has been finished in a kind of calico which is basically a base cover meaning you can usually apply a fabric of you choosing directly over the top. This sofa is a must have for any fine English furniture connoisseur, it screams country house style charm and charisma. Howard & Son’s are simply put the finest chair makers in history, the Queen even has a private collection. Condition wise it is structurally perfect, the timber has been cleaned waxed and polished, the fabric is a little worn but usable Dimensions Height:- 85cm Width:- 159.5cm Depth:- 85cm Seat Height:- 51cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
