We are delighted to offer lovely circa 1940s light walnut double wardrobe made by the walnut cabinet works which is part of a large suite this piece is part of a suite as mentioned, i have in total the dressing table, two wardrobes, one of which is very large the other is large with internal storage, the headboard with built in side tables and lastly a chest of drawers. This sale is for the piece mentioned above only, the other lots can be found under my other items this piece is well made, decorative and very nice in the light walnut. This was designed with hanging space in mind, it wide and deep enough to fit a small chest of drawers inside. The right door has a mirror and there is a cubby hold for folded linen to the top right. These pieces are usually designed to be able to quickly split down the middle for ease of transport and installation condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it may have normal age and use related patina marks here and there, mostly its in very fine order so far as i can see dimensions height:- 196cm width:- 125cm depth:- 57cm please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, . Rh20 1df. Condition please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
