We are delighted to offer for sale this original, stamped 2001 Fritz Hansen Egg armchair and matching ottoman footstool in Ivory cream leather RRP £17,649 Where to begin! If you are looking at this listing then the chances are you know how rare and important these chairs and stools are, they come with the original distressed labels to the base dating them to 2001 as mentioned This chair and stool set, should you wish to purchase new today is £17,649 as pictured above, as that's for a new pair which anyone can buy, the vintage examples are way more collectable, the 1960's pieces are £25,000+ as listed under my other items The metal base frames have of course the original patination, its a wonderful chrome which has matted down nicely over the last 22 years. The leather is an Ivory white which has a slight cream tinge to it, it looks sublime Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there will be some light age and use related patina marks here and there Dimensions for the armchair Height:- 107cm, seat height 38.5cm Width:- 88cm Depth:- 77.5cm Dimensions for the ottoman Height:- 41.5cm Width:- 56cm Depth:- 40cm Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
