We are delighted to offer this absolutely exquisite 19th-century Continetal School oil painting of a mother and child in a … Read more We are delighted to offer this absolutely exquisite 19th-century Continetal School oil painting of a mother and child in a gilded and pierced foliate Florentine frame This painting is very serene, of the period, the frame is original and really quite valuable in its own right, as is to often the case I have seen them removed and repurposed as mirrors which sell for twice the value of the painting, it’s a crying shame really as to me, originality is more important that money The pairing is charming, they are a good size to sit over a chest of drawers or hall table Condition is exquisite, I have nothing negative to note as its all wonderful Dimensions Height:- 92cm Width:- 76.5cm Depth:- 4cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point .
