This piece is part of a bedroom set, i have in total a triple bank wardrobe, dressing table with trifold mirrors and pair of side chairs, a large bedside table and lastly the chest of drawers, this sale is for the piece mentioned above only, the others are listed under my other items this is as mentioned, the finest quality i have ever seen for this type of furniture, it truly is a master class of craftsmanship, when describing it, i honestly don’t know where to begin, it’s made in quality walnut, the legs and top of the back rest are ornately carved and gold leaf painted the piece has the original waring & gillow of lancaster serial number stamped to the base, they match the rest of the suite which all have the metal plaques on and or locks stamped waring & gillow these suite really is one of a kind, i don’t imagine i will ever see another where it has been commissioned with absolute no expense spared, this is museum quality at its finest which is to say gillow were basically showing off condition wise we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, i can’t see anything negative to note, it will naturally have some age and use related patina marks dimensions height:- 88cm width:- 44cm depth:- 46cm seat height:- 47cm this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
