This is a absolutely exquisite circa 1800 English made Pollard oak writing bureau with ornately hand carved claw & ball feet. This has to be the best looking bureau I have ever seen, the timber grain and patina is sublime, nothing looks as good as pollard oak when its this old and well carved. The piece dates to circa 1800 although I suspect the timber may be ever older, they could be reclaimed 18th century panels
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there.
