We are delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare, Musical, original circa 1880 Swiss made Black Forest wood, Fox whip hook with glass eyes These are a very very rare piece, the foxes almost never come up for sale and with the glass eyes is even rarer.This one has the music box, the way it should work is you wind it up, leave it on the wall, then pull the hook down and it plays music, they are wonderfully temperamental and work when they feel like it This has been cleaned waxed and polished, there will be normal age and use related patina Dimensions Height:- 30.5cm Width:- 11cm Depth:- 7.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
