This thickly layered, impasto style painting is made with rhythmic, gestural marks with varying shades and tones of black and white, cream, tonal beige, metallic gold and antique white. Straying from her usual colorful artworks, Monica examines powerful yet muted tones creating sculptural layers with paint that will add dimension and texture to any space.

Monica creates all of her work in her brightly lit studio along the banks of the Hudson River in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She is constantly inspired by nature, light and the changing of the seasons.
