Hand-knotted in wool circa 1890-1900, this 13x17 antique Persian rug is believed to be a rare Tabriz rug from master weaver Haji Jalili.
On the Design:
This oversized rug belongs to a provenance that is one of the most celebrated in Tabriz rugs and all Persian rugs alike. In this piece, beige and black tones underscore a play of all over and medallion-style floral patterns. Keen eyes will further admire rich brown accents in the black tones for a gorgeous dimension.
