Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is a beautiful painting executed on cloth. Oftentimes, before Peter could afford canvas, he painted on cloth he had. This piece is from his “Junge Wilde” collection, which he created in Berlin from the early 80s through the 90s.

It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower left corner and was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
